Q:1. Has there ever been a time in your life that you thought you were defeated and Jesus came through in a mighty way? It rebuilt your faith in Jesus? How did it strengthen you?
Q: 2. How does this relate to your life when you don't hear from God? Are you superstitious when it comes to not having your prayers answered in a timely manner? i.e. Did I pray enough? Did I serve enough? Did I sin? Remember: God does not answer our prayers because of the amount of work we do....Jesus did all the work on the cross.
Q: 3. The Christians of the early churches were not received well because of their faith in Jesus; believing He was the one and only true God. They certainly didn't feel they "FIT IN"
How does that make you feel? To know that there may be times that you will be ostracized because of your faith in Jesus Has this ever happened to you? Remember James 4:4 says: You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God. Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. What does this mean to you?
Q: 4. Based on how you feel about what the Springs represents to you, what new name would you give to this church group of people?
Q: 5. What does this scripture mean to you?
