Financial Freedom Ministry

Our purpose is to educate people on the stewardship of their resources and help them develop their spiritual walk with God at home, work and play.

“Therefore if you have not been faithful in the use of worldly wealth, who will entrust the true riches to you?” Luke 16:11

Classes

Using Crown Financial Ministries materials and training, we offer a life group bible study or individual coaching. These sessions help people to:

• Set up a workable, personal spending plan
• Start on the road to financial freedom
• Improve communication between husband and wife
• Become “free to serve” as God directs

Students gain a biblical perspective on issues such as ownership, debt, contentment, counsel, work, saving, giving and more. Along with the bible study, students complete practical exercises designed to organize one’s finances, develop a plan and begin living with it.

• Learn how to make financial decisions according to God’s principles
• Learn how to detect the “budget busters” that lead to financial problems before they get out of hand
• Discern wrong attitudes toward material things that may be a hindrance to your spiritual life
• Be encouraged as you hear the joy others have experienced as they apply these truths in their lives

Serving

If you are interested in serving in this ministry, there are periodic training classes offered where instruction is provided for volunteer budget coaches or life group leaders.

The Springs’ next “Crown Financial Freedom Group Study” will be starting October, 2010.

• We meet at the church Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 8:30.
• The group is limited to 8 students.
• The cost is $65 for a couple, $55 for a single – to cover books.
